Every family has a scrapbook. Or at least home movies. Something to hold all the precious memories accumulated over the years.

The Menagerie is no different. And with the diverse and lively cast of characters filling the Estate, there will always a memorable event going on. Hence, the resident monitor, 343 Guilty Spark created the Archives.

Essentially, they're the holographic renditions of the goings-on as recalled by the guys and gals of Newark's wildest and quirkiest. Every sight, sound, smell and sensation is replicated through the use of a Pensive, then is compressed and transferred into a disc the thickness of a sheet of paper.

The Archives also hold some of the finer - and in some cases, grittier - details of the Menagerie's inhabitants, as well as play-by-play of the worlds it serves as a crossroads to. Essential information on the Parasites can be allocated in the Bestiary and the many, many weapons can be looked up.
